Quads hand, 3 ppl in pot, How much to bet here?
Playing almost full ring here on bodog. Players with stacks in this hand around $150-180. $1/2 blinds.
MP limps, Button calls, SB calls, I check with 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the BB. $8 in the pot going to the flop. Flop: 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]10[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] SB checks, I lead for $6, MP and Button call, SB folds. $26 in the pot. Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - Beautiful card. I know if my opponents have a 10 here there not going to fold and no one on bodog ever believes me. I lead for $15, both MP and Button call again. Im loving this. $71 in the pot going into the river. River: 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - Usually I would bet around the pot but since I got 2 callers I know they have a 10. Also this is bodog, I know for a fact there not folding or atleast one of them. I ??? |

check-raise all in? I guess there's a risk that you might end up checking down quads...but I don't think I can see 2 callers checking behind.
Either that, or all-in to start with if you think they'd call |

all in seems pretty good here. From what i hear about bodog, they wouldnt fold much hear, let alone top boat.

Anywhere from pot-sized bet to all-in on river. Since you've been leading no one will believe you have quads. Getting two callers for a pot-sized bet is just as good as one all-in caller so consider which is mostly likely to happen and go with it.

Re: Quads hand, 3 ppl in pot, How much to bet here?
If your read is right that they share a T or have an overpair (not likely based on action), then an AI lead on the river is going to look like you are just trying to steal the pot that they see as a split. Common move. Only a weak/tight player is likely folding to your push.
There is some merit in a pot sized bet. You have to have a pretty good read here to make the choice. Consider that this bet looks like you have a T too, but are scared of a 3. An agro player with a T is going to try to move you off the pot with a push and may squeeze the other player into a AI call too. But unless you have a very good read here, I think the AI gets paid off in at least one spot if not both more times than not. |

I probably bet $25 here on the turn.
Something like $60 seems good on the river now when the pot is $71. |
