Standard \'how big is yours?\'
x-Party 3/6
I raise JJ UTG, guy with TAG stats 3-bets in CO, blinds drop, I call. Flop is A K 6 rainbow Is this check-fold? What about preflop? I thought a TAG's range here vs an UTG raise (I don't know if he knows anything about me) is not loose enough for me to cap JJ without position. What about when the flop has a 8 instead of the king? |

I like bet/fold. He would rarely raise with something that beats you, yet often you are in the lead here. If he calls your flop bet, then it gets tricky. I think I might bet/fold the turn, and check/call the river.
Tough situation though. |

Re: Standard \'how big is yours?\'
If I am sitting behind you and have 3bet you with TT, I am raising you if you bet into me. Meantime I have no good answer for you. Sometimes I would bet fold, sometimes C/R. I think rarely will I check call. But all the above are an option depending on my villan

Without having a read, I cap pf. There's lots of hands he'll 3bet you're ahead of, mostly big aces and lower PPs.

Cap preflop. It makes the hand easier to play, since the TAG could be 3-betting from the SB on a wide range of pocket pairs.

Re: Standard \'how big is yours?\'
Im sorry, I misread it, and saw him capping from the SB for some reason. Anyhow, regardless, particularly where the flop is heads up, capping preflop (even if you are going to be OOP after the flop), just makes the hand easier to play.
