AK on drawless/paired board
I always feel like I overvalue my hand in these spots, but I hate to show too much weakness too.
PokerStars 5/10 Hold'em (6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, MP calls. Flop: (7.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) MP checks, Hero bets, MP calls. Turn: (4.70 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) MP checks, Hero bets, MP raises, Hero calls. River: (8.70 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) MP bets, Hero calls. Final Pot: 10.70 BB Villian is loose, aggressive. Is this standard AK play on this board? |

Re: AK on drawless/paired board
I fold to the turn raise without a specific read that this guy likes to take shots at me/people. Pf, flop, and turn bet look fine.

Re: AK on drawless/paired board
Unless this guy is starting to think of me as week, I fold the turn raise. It really depends a lot on your image. Have you been bet/folding a lot recently? If so a LAG will be taking shots at you more often.
