Over 100k hands, yes. Over 100 hands, who knows?

about 2k hands... Actually, relatively to what i've done in the past, is "break even poker"... or so it feels... the wins don't come as much as i've seen... not a lot of "double up's" lately... just grinding poker it seems...

I wouldn't take too much stock in results over 2k hands. For example my 1st 2k hands in NL $200 I went on a 15+PTBB tear. After 9k hands I sit around 6PTBB. I didn't start sucking over the last two weeks, I just hit a heater followed by a bad run. After 50k+ if you are beating it for 9+ hen I think you are doing quite well and would say you should try moving up a level.

If you still have this after 30K hands, then you should quit your day job!

I think you're running really good. Congratualations!

The FAQ has some more information on win rates. Also, PT BBs/100 seems to be the figure tossed around on this site more than BB/Hr.

That puts you in this range (from this thread in the FAQ):

"10.1 + PTBB : Okay junior, enough with the bullshit. With that sample size, we can't even tell if you're a winning player AT ALL. You need at least 500 posts to be considered a serious poker player. You might not even be worthy of existing yet ! Spread your non-sense lies elsewhere ! I'm notifying the moderator ! "

Yeah, I'm at 18.5 PTBB/100 over my first 1500 hands. This obviously isn't sustainable, so it really should illustrate that 2k hands just isn't enough to know anything for sure.

I dread the downswing that is inevitably lurking...
