I am 3rd to act after the BB and I am debating on whether to mini raise, call or fold this hand. I fear that at the 10+1, mini raisnig would do nothing since the players are so loose, and I wouldn't know where I stand on the flop and after i make a continuation bet, 1/4 of my stack would be in the pot. I didn't think pushing is an option here, is it? AQ is only 60-40 to two undercards? How would everyone else play this...

Min raising is never a good idea unless the blinds are huge AND you have a monster. If you min raise more often than that, you should stop. In this hand, I'd raise to 300-350.

yeah, just raise it 3bbs and proceed from there...there is nothing set in stone as to how to play from there and never feel you can't get away from this just bc you raised it.

What do you mean '3rd to act after the BB'? Just please tell us your position in plain English, then I can tell you what I'd do.

I too am raising this 3x or 4x the BB. Be happy to take the blinds but your hand isn't terrible. Actually, at the $11s, that's a monster.

Don't get scared because of the blinds. Make your raise with what could very well be the best hand.

you are in the cut-off, right?

my decision would depend on what the other players did already:

if it's folded around, i'd raise to ~T300.

if there are limpers, i'd either raise or just call and take a cheap look at the flop. but that depends on the situation.

if there is a raise before me, i'd fold. maybe AQ is the best hand right here, but with a healthy chip stack and some time there'll be better opportunities later.

If there's limpers, I'm shoving. No question.
