10/20 flopped flush aggression check
10/20 Party 9-handed
Hero is dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in BB. Villian is a complete loose nut. He plays anything preflop that's suited or remotely connected. Preflop: EP limps, Villian limps, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Action: SB leads, Hero calls, EP folds, Villian raises, SB folds, Hero calls. Turn: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Action: Hero checks, Villian bets, Hero raises, Villian reraises, Hero calls? River: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Action: Hero checks, Villian bets, Hero calls. Analysis: Given Villians high range of holdings, is a turn cap too aggresssive? Also, what's my plan for the river? I don't know if I was aggressive enough during this hand. |

Re: 10/20 flopped flush aggression check
I probably would have called the flop like you did but once Villian raises and SB folds I would 3-bet the flop and lead the turn. If he was a complete loose nut like you say, I wouldn't slow down til he raises me on the river.

Re: 10/20 flopped flush aggression check
you really need to be capping that turn if you villian in question is a loose nut.

Cap the turn, bet the river and call a raise.
