Re: blind battle hand
Check behind preflop. He would have a flush draw or something like A5 and trying to get his gutshot. I really hate the spot you put yourself in. Now you have 500 or so left over and I really want to make a bet here and fold to a reraise but your stack is not deep enough. This is why I check behind preflop. Because of your stack size and the blinds being so low that even with 500 or so you can still come back. I check behind. On the river check behind obviously if he checks. Call any 100 to 200 bet if no club comes. Jeez tought spot. I really want to lead this turn but you are pot comitting yourself then.

Re: blind battle hand
pushes now, of course.
I like seeing a flop on the cheap w/ that hand, though. Flop looks fine. |

Re: blind battle hand
push. you are dangerously close to a terminal short stack. I can't see small blind limping in with any middle or small pairs, although he may have limped with a huge pair, in an attempt to extract as much as he can from the BB, being the only player left in the hand. The only card i'm scared of is a 2. You need to get him off his hand now and take your chances. Push.

Re: blind battle hand
Checks pre-flop. You will probably either love or hate the flop, and I like to know which it is before I put more chips in. Also here are too many people willing to get into a "my schlong is bigger than yours" pissing contest here, and I don't want a re-raise, especially when the blinds are low and I can flop huge. (No pun intended.)
Like the flop bet. Shove that turn. If he's on 77, whoops, but I'm more worried about the river 7, 8, 9, T, J, Q, or A that could be bad news. Sam |
