raise more preflop. if i'm in the BB with 2 limpers, i'll make it ~7BB...at $25NL, i'm raising it to $2.

pot the flop

the rest of the hand plays a lot different. as played, Villain could have anything and is probably beating you.

Preflop if you are going to raise (which I like to) it has to be at least a pot bet, so here, at least $1.

And yes flop bet definatly needs to be more.

Given the way you played it, the turn check-minraise sucks, I guess I'd have to call down.

hmm I thought 3-4 x BB was the standard raise in any position if you were going to raise pre flop? I guess I'm wrong. When I'm raising with hands in position how much should I raise in general..pot sized bet always?

generally, i make a pot sized bet. that equates to 3.5BB plus 1 per limper. if i'm going to be OOP (in a blind or UTG), i'll pad it by a couple BB so that I'm raising more.

it all also depends on who has limped and who is still to act and a bunch of other things.
