The Swings in Heads Up

I have recently switched over to playing $22 dollar Head's up. I feel that the swings are better than in SNG's. This may just be personal, but I think that at the 20 dollar level, the competition is not very difficult. I have not keep track of enought Heads up games to really tell how bad the swings are or how profitable they are, but it has currently been very profitable for me.

Has logged hundreds or thousands of Heads up games? If so what do you think about Variance? And How profitable are they considered to other forms of poker?
