Default Stupid rakeback question

I am relatively new to the joys of rakeback and only get it on two of the less popular poker networks.. but was curious if it benefits sit&go/MTT types also i.e. getting back 25% of the $3 fee on a $30 tourney. Wouldn't affect me much but I do have friends who play online without rakeback that are almost exclusively sit & go types and was wondering if it would benefit them...

I don't know - I wish I could help you, though. But I do know:

There are no stupid rakeback questions, just stupid rakeback forums.

if they play 30/3s, then 25% of that 3 is 75 cents/tournament

if they play only 100/month, that's $75/month, or their cable/dsl modem plus eating out once

if they 4-table, then it's $3/set, which last 45 mins, so $4.50/hour

so if they just play 2-hours/night while watching tv, that's 9/day = $270/month, or an ipod each month

and that's not even including the roi they are getting...this is purely a $270/month bonus that they could/should be getting right now

Definately benefits STT players. 8 tabling party $30's you make $10/hr just from rakeback. Just make sure the site you're playing counts STTs and MTTs towards the MGR.

I heard UB policy on tournies is no rakeback given for them, but that it might change soon. This is all a huge rumor of course, but could someone write down a list of the sites that give rakeback for tournies and the ones that give rakeback for cash games only?
