Overpair under fire...
As I said before I'm new to NL so I still have a ton to learn.
Party Poker (8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, 4 folds, Hero calls, BB checks. Re: Overpair under fire...
stack sizes are important
i raise this preflop pretty often, given one weak limper if BB is solid (read:non-crazy), i consider folding, as there is no way to know if he has hit 2 pair, top pair, or is on a draw. stack sizes and previous play from BB would dictate my decision here |

Re: Overpair under fire...
BB had me well covered with around $70. I had around $20. This was about my 6th or 7th hand so I'm assuming he's not crazy.
