Default Hand v Jason T

I raise A8 from CO. Jason 3 bets from SB, BB calls.

Flop is A43 r

Jason leads, sb calls, I call.

Turn is K completing rainbow.

Jason leads, BB calls, I fold.

How did I do?

I don't know what you're beating against both jason_t and the donk, but I'm hard pressed to fold this. KQ or QQ-TT he'd possibly play similarly. You've also most likely got 6 outs to a chop, and 3 outs to a good hand.

If anywhere I think a river fold is in order.

also, don't turn weak-tight because you used to be a mad LAG. I did that for awhile, and it sucks.

I think jason's 3betting range includes 88 and maybe lower here. However, with 2 callers on his flop bet I don't think he follows thru on the turn without a good A, so you're fold is probably good.

After two flop calls I'd have to think Jason is only betting hands that have you beat here besides maybe KQ. If SB wasn't still in, I'd say you might have odds to draw to the eights/chops, but I think he lowers your equity enough to make this a good fold.
