DC 5/10 mixed game this friday

Hi all,

I haven't posted to this forum for a while...I've been rather busy starting grad school and playing online.

There has been a thread in the B & M forum about a DC 5/10 S.H.O.E + 1/2 nl if anyone is interested. I am thinking about being the host for this Friday at 7. I live 2 blocks from the Tenlytown metro station. Let me know if you are interested.

Yeah, it won't be the most profitable game in town...but we can all pretend that we are playing a big mixed game at the Bellagio...heh, if this game happens regularly, who knows, maybe we will all get good enough to eventually play in the big game.

It would be really fun if some how I get a seat between you and Jeffage. At that point I think I would just go get drunk to lessen the pain of the upcomming slaughter.

I will know Wednesday if my cousins will be in town or if I can go lose by BR.

Hi All,

Looks like this game is going to happen. I have a list below of who is coming or maybe coming, as well as suggestions they have made to the structure. As it stands the game will be 5/10 SHOE + 1/2 nl. I am personally fine with adding Razz or lowering the limits if everyone agrees, but come prepared to play the structure above. In defense of the structure above, it includes all 5 games regularly spread in casinos (we don't gain much by becoming razz experts). Also, by doing 5/10 for the stud games we can do a $1 ante $2bring-in, which I personally think is more fun than something like 3/6 or 4/8 with a 50 cent ante, especially short handed. As an added bonus we won't have to deal with the hassle of needing quarters.
