Default Did I play this hand wrong 1 at Green Valley Casino 4-8?

It was 7 handed. It was a Kill pot. A person called in seat 6 and seat 7. An loose aggressive maniac had the Kill and posted 6 for the kill in seat 8. Another loose aggressive player in seat 1 calls the 6 dollars. I had T2 diamonds in the BB. I just called 2 dollars to see a flop. the board comes 3d 4c 6d on the flop. i check, seat 7 checks, seat 8 bets, seat 9 raises, seat 1 calls, I call, then seat 7 and seat 8 calls. the turn was a 4s, and seat 7 checks, seat 8 bets (he had A4 for trips), seat 9 raises (he flopped a straight w 25), seat 1 calls, I call, seat 6 calls. The river was a Tc. I check, seat six checks, seat 7 bets, seat 8 is all in for 14, seat 1 folds, I call w my T's, and seat 6 calls with 88. The winner was seat 8 who had flopped a straight. This hand cost me a lot of chips by calling the raises on the flop and turn, but i thought i would win a big pot if a diamond hit, but I found out seat one had J4 of diamonds which left me drawing only to a five on the river for a straight. I would have split the pot. I think I shouldn't have called the flop and turn raises, and probably not the river, but the pot was so huge. Tell me what the right play for this hand is.

I need help w learning how to make this easier to read. Can someone help me and teach me? This is my first time doing this. Thankyou!!!

Man, you have got to lay out the play better than this; it's almost unreadable.

I'd 3-bet the flop for value. Coming up against another flush draw is rare and you are 2:1 to hit by the river.

Every dollar you can get into the pot on the flop is making you money, so long as you have at least 2 opponents.

i bet/3bet the flop for value, check/call turn, the river is close in this big pot, but i think you can fold given all the action on previous rounds

I'd fold preflop. Some may argue with that.

However, you are faced with two bets on the flop with nothing but a gutshot and a ten high flush and you call? That's the time to fold.

The board pairs on the turn and you call two big bets again with the same gutshot / low flush draw which may not even be good anymore? This is even a worse call than the flop.

The river call is also bad. How can you think a pair of tens with a 2 kicker is the best hand here? Especially with the pot being raised and reraised on both the flop and turn?

It seems you should educate yourself on the concept of pot odds - the money that is in the pot compared to the percentage of time you will make the best hand.

"The Theory of Poker" is a book you may want to take a look at.

Sorry to say, but this is pretty awful advice. The flop was bet and raised by the time it got to him. Either the initial bettor or subsequent raiser could easily be playing and A high flush draw that way on the flop.

Folding for two bets on the flop is the most practical way to go here.

No. You're seeing the river here. Assuming a raiser has a better flush draw is silly.

I'm sort of leaning towards your answer. I shouldn't have called 2 dollars in the beginning, but it's hard to resist. You seriously would've folded in a loose game where there is a maniac raising a lot with nothing? The other players are telling me to call the flop and turn and fold the river. But this hand has really got me thinking that i should've been a lot more conservative. The other guy said i'm getting 2-1 on the money on my outs? I thought i had a lot of them. But you may be right about throwing away on the flop w a flush draw and a gut shot straight to two bets. This hand has really got me wondering. You are right, the river call was a crying call.

Fold the river.

Use a hand converter.

Don't post results.

This isn't NL. We stay in with flush draws unless there's overwhelming evidence we're beat. I agree, no reason to 3-bet the flop, don't go crazy with flush draws unless you have the nut draw. But don't fold, either.
