Should I pull the trigger?
Fantasy Football trade proposal:
I trade Brett Favre and Antonio Gates I get Peyton Manning and Clinton Portis or Larry Johnson Passing touchdowns are not discounted they score the same as running or receiving so Brett Favre is the scoring leader for this league. However, we can keep up to two players from our roster year to year and I would get to keep Peyton Manning and Shaun Alexander. Good trade for me? Joe

Tough call, since this a keeper league, I think I would do it. Only because you get to keep manning, which despite his less than stellar stats this year (although it may be unfair to compare them to 49 TD passes last year) would definitely be worth it to hold on to him for the next few years.
However, if this were a one year league only ( i have joined 2 keeper leagues in my life, and they both disbanded after one year) I wouldn't do it, Gates is a monster at TE. He would be a top pick even if he took the WR slot. Favre is gonna put up big stats this year. This is assuming you have decent RBs already. --LoO

Gates is going to be a pretty nice keeper at tight end for a pretty long time.
