Default Bottom two, 1/2 6 max

I have 5To in the BB, 2 limpers, SB completes I check.

Flop:: A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I check, because I want to see the action. UTG pots it for $8, fold to me and I just call.

Turn ($24): A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet $15, UTG raises to $55.

I lead the flop. There are a lot of ways for you to be beaten on this turn. No reads? I probably fold.

I fold, but I wouldn't have called on the flop, either. I'd either bet it myself or check/fold. Unless he's a maniac, you're beat way too often to call.

Check fold the flop? Seems way too weak.

I like a check raise on the flop, Bottom two, especially with the Ace isn't so awesome, I generally aim to win that pot on the flop. In the blinds I like the CR because it lets you put in a fatter raise without blatantly overbetting.

But on the turn its very hard to feel good after being raised. I may have to put the opponent on limping with A9/A10.

Of course, he could be overplaying Ace large as well, which isn't so uncommon

Check raising this flop really sucks I think.

I probably bet the flop or checkraise it. As played this is a tough situation because to a good player, he could have you on a flush draw that wanted to see it for less than a full pot sized bet....now you are facing a large raise....I like leading flop, leading turn, folding to a raise as a line better.

read/stacks?

check calling the flop kinda sucks here IMO

i bet the flop here 19/20 times, if i check call a PSB on the flop I check call the turn and most river bets too, unless some weird cards come and he goes all in or bets 1.5x the pot or more. if he bets really strongly on blanks then you need a read, but i probably call more than i should in those spots.

I agree check raising is messy, will be very hard to know where you're at and play the turn correctly if he calls flop cr, or you just fold hands you want money from.

I'd usually just bet the flop, but I think your line is fine. However, if I decide to do what you did I'd bet more on the turn, $25.
