Default interesting live hand 80/160 shorthanded

40/80 game with overs. All of the relative players had overs so it played like a 80

CO= good LAGGY player who i've heard plays in the 200 at commerce. obviously a winning player though from what I've seen he has trouble folding hands that are obviously beaten.

Button. plays too passive pre-flop and reasonable after the flop.

5 handed. I am in the big blind with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

CO raises, button cold calls. I call in BB.

Flop: rainbow A 10 7.

I check. CO bets, Button Raises, I 3-bet, Button calls, CO calls.

Turn: offsuit 7.

I bet, CO raises, Button Calls, I 3-bet, CO 4-bets. Button folds. I call.

River: Q.

I check and call.

Thoughts on the hand?

given your description of the cutoff it's correct to put in 2 more big bets.

co could have AK, AQ, AT, K7, and other hands with a 7. he's laggy and theyre short.

edit: of course those are just the hands hero beats. c/o could also have AA, TT, and A7. but i like hero's chances here and think it's worth making it 5 bets on the turn and calling down from there.

i play it the same... dont really see any debatable decisions here. i would not fivebet the turn... youre OOP and laying 2:1... i dont want to put myself in a situation where i have to call BB #7 w/ almost no chance of winning the pot... if anything, donk the river.

If the hero wasn't in the big blind I would agree with you.
