Villain is 55/18/1 ; This has led me to believe that recently he has been playing back at me (and only me) in places like when we are in the blinds and HU.

In this hand, probably not. I think at the time, I figuredI could 3bet the flop in an effort to try and get him to stop trying to raise me off hands.

I strongly agree with this, I think it can be a leak to pick weak spots to try to send a messsage, I myself am guilty of this. 6 max hands come soon enough, wait until a more powerful flopped hand, i dont think u taught him the lesson, i think u taught him ull overdefend ur blinds, also, when u do rail one, he will pay u off for the lost +10...

IE drunkily, clumsily, falling down the stairs after your first night of ever drinking.

If you really think he's taking shots at you, call the flop raise and c/r the turn. It shows more power.

I curious with this hand as well, what should the line be?

Would check raising the turn, then checking river Unimproved be right?

Or are you folding this draw on the turn HU?

I think the consensus is that I put an extra small bet in on the flop that I shouldnt have.

I'm nearly never folding a straight + flush draw on the turn headsup. If I just had an open-ended straight draw, I still wouldnt fold it with a pot that big. On the river if I didnt hit either, I would likely check-fold, unless the villain had an unusually low went-to-showdown %.

flop and river are icky. A lot of these LAG villains suck at river value betting. Flop is ickier though.
