You flopped your A
I got AKos on button, Ep raises for 3xbb, he would do this AA-TT,A-x x down to 9 if suited
Blinds 200/400 ante 25 Ep stack 14K, mp calls his stack 12K I call from button 28K Flopp comes A 9 4 rainbow Preflopp raiser leads out-with a bet of 1400, this makes me quite sure (70%) he is on KK-TT, Mp folds What is the size of your bet, do u wish to drive him out or call at disfavoured odds? Would anyone think about just calling? I favoured the call preflopp due to the good position and not to many reads. Would u still prefer a raise preflopp? |

Re: You flopped your A
Reraise preflop. AKs is a very high category 1 hand. He can make the raise with AQo, KQo and many marginal hands if it has folded to him. Make him pay.
I would say on the flop you are about 99% ahead or chopping. Call the flop and raise the turn if you want to extract chips. If you are worried about him drawing out on you, raise the flop. All these raises should be about 2.5x-3x his bet/raise. |

Re: You flopped your A
I see no problem with flat calling preflop.
especially with the caller inbetween. I raise to around 5K on the flop. If he does have KK-TT, when you call he is most likely done with the hand, so you are just giving him a free shot at hitting his set and taking all your chips. |

Re: You flopped your A
perfectly played so far.
I call the flop, he's probally got only 2 or 3 outs and raising will blow him off his hand, so call and see if you can extract more on later streets. |
