Default SNG seat at Party

I've been playing SNGs at Stars and decided to try them at Party. I get the list of tables, find one that says "waiting for 4 players" and click on it. It's not waiting for 4 players, the game's already running and 4 players have busted out. So I try again, pick one that says "waiting for 10 players" and get a blank table with no "sit down" buttons. After about five attempts, I finally find one with available seats.

Surely there's an easier way to do this than just randomly picking tables hoping to find a seat available. What am I missing?

You're missing a cable modem?

It's difficult to get in games, especially at lower buyins.

It's even worse if you 4-table.

8-tabling, sometimes it's hell getting them all up.

I don't even want to think about 12+...

click on the whitepace repeatedly, i tend to think it works well in refreshing the tables.

I have a cable modem and fast broadband. I guess I was expecting it to be as easy as Stars, where they give you a list of tables starting up and you just pick one instead of shooting at moving targets hoping to hit something.

I sometimes check and uncheck "hide full tables" repeatedly, or switch to a different buyin and back, but I have no idea if it's just a diversion

Ok here is the scoop. This is awesome info.

1) Uncheck the box for hide full tables.
2) Watch the banner on the top of the client. It will stop breiefly then start again. This is when the client is refreshing.
3) Check the box again and the tables should refresh.
