Starting small, .5 unit wagers
car +230 (like the big +)
tor +127 (in tor still means something i think)
sj +118 (hot prea-season, very good team)
ana +123 (chicago didn't improve that much)
edm -132 (fading colorado, not the avs of old)

added det -1.5 (st. louis is a mess)

You guys have stones to lay bets in this league after all that's taken place, but I like the calls. The Penguins +130, especially, is a very favourable line. Detroit too looks good.

Edit: I like the calls except Toronto. Home ice is nice, but the ACC is pretty dull, and Ottawa is just that much better. And I'm a homer.

Their may be some real $$$ in the overs tonight. Look for the referees to strictly enforce the new rules, leading to more power plays and more scoring.

True; almost all of them are at 5.5 or 6, which is more likely to be on the low end than the high. Avalanche-Oilers is intriguing for the over, Leafs-Senators (Ottawa could really explode, big game, pre-season as an indicator), Penguins-Devils (the Devils are not what they were without Stevens, Niedermayer, and the trap) . . .
