Common SSNL situation
This is a situation I find myself in when I am running well(not the case currently) and I sometimes feel I leave value on the table by not playing optimally.
I will flop a nice draw in EP such as the nut flush or OESD or both and lead out with a bet. I believe this adds deceptive value when I do hit, and I can sometimes win the pot if I get aggressive on later streets unimproved. Usually I get one caller, and then my dream card arrives on the turn. I often check here and when my opponent bets out again I am unsure of how best to extract from you typical 6-max $50 or $100 NL player. The c/r seems to scare everyone off, the stop-and-go on the river only gets called occassionally, and I hate trying a big c/r on the river b/c they too often check behind. Anyone have a line that is successful in getting value from these more consistenly? |

Re: Common SSNL situation
Go for 1/2 pot on the turn. Then value bet the river.
