Default Empire v. Paradise

After I've played 10,000 hands at Empire I'm going to post a full review of the differences between the two sites, but for now I'll just say that if you've been under the impression that the Paradise games are tough compared to the Party network, you've been lied to systematially.

Please don't post that. Everyone knows Paradise is much tougher.

I'd like to think 10k as a small sample size

Don't know if you're being sarcastic. If you're not, then I can say without reservation that Paradise is not near as "tough" as it's made out to be. Not even close.

Every 2/4 game I've sat in at Empire has like 4-5 players with VPIP < 20%. WTF is up with a 2/4 game being a rock garden? Paradise 2/4 would have, like, me under 20%, and possibly one other player with whom I'd be very familiar, and then a whole gaggle of crappy, clueless players. That does not describe Empire very well at all.

Again, full review coming at 10,000 hands.

For some things, but not for just giving my impression of the sites' playability, software, etc. Nothing deep, just a general overview for those thinking about using one or the other.

So do I. I'm playing two 2/4 tables right now. From where I am sitting, going clockwise, here are the VPIP's:

Table 1: 26.2, 13, 13.3, 12.3, 20, 18.9, 50. Wow.

Table 2: 15.4, 23.7, 13, 15.8, 9.1, 23.5, 24.4 18.5. WTF?

Unbelivable. Seeing these incredibly low numbers in print makes me even more depressed. Where are all the loosy-goosy fish I was told swam in the Party waters?

That tends to happen after 3 years of posts on how soft the Party games are. Since then, there must have been a couple of thousand people who started multitabling the 2/4 and 3/6 games there.
