Default New car, $15-20K

I'm probably moving to the U.S soon and hope to get a car in the above range. I will probably got for something used. I don't have a family, but I would prefer more than 2 seats. One of those cars with 2 spacious front seats, and a small back row would be ideal as I don't see myself having more than 2 people in the car all that often.

Edit: Could you recommend me a couple of good websites to peruse to see what second hand car I can get for $20K in the US?

You can get a new one for your price range. You can get a 5 year old civic for less than $10,000.00. Those cars are very reliable, low maintenance and great gas mileage.

A coworker just bought a 2005 Impala with about 25k miles for $12k including tax, title, and license. It looks like its very spacious in the front, I was a bit surprised by how roomy the front looked.

Yea they r pretty nice cars i decided to get a 2003 malibu because the price was only 8K and it had 37K miles so it should last me until i get more money. It has a pretty good amount of room in the front sets and the trunk is big.
