Default JJ, the SB: How\'d I end up all-in?

Villian is the same as from the set of 6's hand I just posted. Seems OK, hasn't gotten out of line. I have ~$100 and so does he.

.50/$1 NLHE Full Table but we are 8-handed

Preflop: Hero is SB with J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.
Folds to villian in late MP who limps, CO minraises to $2, Button calls $2, Hero calls $1, BB folds, Villian calls $1.

Flop: ($8.75) T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, Villian bets $2.80, CO calls $2.80, Button folds, Hero raises to $14, Villian calls $14, CO folds.

Turn: ($38.75) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $25, Villian pushes all-in, Hero calls his last $60.

Err, thoughts/comments?

anyone...anyone...Buehler...Ferris Buehler....

I thought it was a semi-interesting call. I couldn't put him on a hand that beat me more times than not. Any comments anyone? Or do I have to put all my hand in poll format?

why you aren't checkfolding on the turn I have no idea....

so he is able to fold top pair to your set but he tries to bluff with overs?

every pocket pair from 99 on up has you beat.

Yes, but the set hand happened after this hand. This hand was one of the first hands at the table. QQ-AA raises preflop. 99-TT doesn't bet $2.80 on the flop. A draw might, and that's what I thought he had. And a draw might push there too. If he's fishy, and I wasn't sure or not at the time.

I'm confused as to why you didn't raise this PF. Hand itself is ok. 9T just got counterfitted, it's just as possible as 99 or TT and probably about as likely to play it this way given that he can't put you on an overpair.

Meh. I'm usually 50/50 on JJ in the blinds. If it was limped I woulda raised. With the m/r out there, probably thought at the time, let's hit a set, grab a stack, etc.
