How would u play this hand being the big stack?

$35 6-handed, PokerStars
Level V (75/150)
Seat #4 is the button
Seat 1: Hero(6170 in chips)
Seat 4: SouthrnCross (1000 in chips)
Villain: JonnyP7 (1830 in chips)
JonnyP7: posts small blind 75
HERO: posts big blind 150

Dealt to HERO [4h 8s]
SouthrnCross: folds
Villain: raises 300 to 450
HERO: calls 300

its a purely continuation bet, or possibly TJs+. Either way, you have the chips to degine your position here. Raise.

Now, as for the amount, Im not so sure, since you'll have to balance between too little, and pot commiting him.

I pushed, is that good or bad?
His relative stack should force him to fold with most hand here, right?
With what hands would you play the way Villain did PF?
