Re: cross post sorry its bothering me
Flop raise looks good to fold straight draws etc. I think your behind SB but getting others out gives you better equity overall. Your kicker is a good card to pair if no ace comes. You only got one fold though...meh. Betting it for value? I don't think that makes sense, I think it's the folds you want.

Fold. No one is folding a 7 in this situation, and your reverse implied odds are enormous.

Re: cross post sorry its bothering me
For the table you described, the PF action and the flop you got.
Folding is a mistake I can't decide between calling or raising but I think calling is a better option since you will be able to get paid off by these players if you improve your hand. |

Re: cross post sorry its bothering me
If 'no one has any clue' means 'they love to call and carry their hands too far' then I call or fold a hand like this.
If SB is betting with a piece of this flop this raise seems -EV. I need more reasoning than folding a gutshot because a gutshot is not all that likely on this board. You would be more likely to fold a weak one pair or Ax but I am not seeing much advantage *if* you are already behind SB. |

Re: cross post sorry its bothering me
If you think everyone will call like they did and noone will raise, then I guess a call is ok. I don't think a raise is a good play.

Re: cross post sorry its bothering me
On a table like this the flop raise can't really protect much; you're trying to get people to fold when they shouldn't which isn't a mistake these sorts of players usually make. If you're reasonably confident a raise isn't coming behind you, I'd call the flop. Otherwise I'd dump BP in a 7SB pot.

Re: cross post sorry its bothering me
Raising the flop makes no sense. You are likely behind SB to begin with, the pot is small, and from the way you describe the table, you are not getting anyone to fold.
I think calling the flop is ok, as you get to see one more card for cheap and can get paid off if you hit two pair or trips. From your description of the table, and how this hand played, I don't think you need to be getting to tricky to make some $$ at this table. |
