Default 77 blind defense flops a straight flush draw

CO is new to the table within the last 2 orbits. He raised one pot previously but folded the flop, and has not yet shown down a hand.

I've been folding for 4 score and 7 straight years, so my table image should be extremely tight.

This is hand where I think I would like to take the pot down without seeing a showdown. Obviously the flop checkraise didn't scare the Villain.

Somebody give me a better line here? How was the turn bet into the King?

u have 10 outs 2 give u an unbeatable hand on the river plus 9 more 2 give u a probable winner with either a simple flush or trip sevens.however since its heads up and ur not going to generate enough dead money in the pot by raising i would just call the turn and c what developes on the river 2 determine my course of action.

I'd consider leading and 3-betting when he raises with overcards. This will tend to scaree him more than C/R. Plus you probably have the best hand, if not you could still be a favorite to win if your flush is good. Most opponents will fold missed overs on the turn then.

I think the way you played it was fine though. I just hate folding for one bet on the river, but you're probably not good 1-10.

Maybe threebet preflop, maybe not... player dependent.

The way you played it was fine.
