Default Deep stacks, Open trips

Villain is 40/12 over 50 hands. This hand made me very uncomfortable. Raise the flop, right.

What's your line after raising the flop? Put in no more money if called?

(nice read)

the PF raise from EP, followed by the really weak lead with the open pair and flush draw on the board are just pretty suspicious. a lot of things depend on how i've seen this guy play...some may play AA this way.

when i raise the flop, we'll probably lose MP and then one of two things will happen: a) BB will reraise, probably all-in and i will decide if he's capable of doing that with only AA/KK, or b) BB will call and check to me on the turn...at which point i will check behind and call a river bet.

Sounds good. I knew when the second guy called I had messed up as I didn't want to check to him on the turn and face a possible bet and then checkraise.

Thx. Stupid JJ.

raise the flop, reraise the turn. this is a huge hand and you're only losing to JJ (obviously he has this since you posted the hand). he clearly doesn't have 33. don't be results oriented. i'm happy to play a big pot with a hand like this.

Is a flop bet of 1/3 the pot his typical lead? I think he has a 2..J2 ahhh. You have to at least call the river bet. You called the turn thinking you had the best of it why not the river. call and cross your fingers he shows AJ...not JJ

This villain is at least semi-tight. I don't think he's playing for 200BB with an overpair or a naked Jack. Low PFR means he's not raising a hand with a deuce. Therefore anytime I play for my whole stack I'm losing it.

I should have folded to the CR in this hand and definitely the river bet.
