I don't see any other way to play it. 3-betting the flop is the only questionable play here, but I think it's the best line. Are you folding the turn if it's bet?

No, I'm calling down a turn bet because A2 was just counterfeited.

When villian cold calls preflop and caps the flop, what hand range do you put him on, knowing he's an unknown. When he cold calls? Does cold calling lead you to conclude anything?

I wasn't sure. Maybe he coldcalls with AK, 22, A2s, QQ, I just didn't know. He could be raising the flop with a diamond draw or garbage or a weaker ace, so I think the 3-bet is correct.

When he caps, I figure I'm behind but with outs. On the river I caught up to AK and A2, and I'm beating 22. Obviously I'm only losing to KK, but it's one possible hand for him in case he likes to slowplay -- and people do like to slowplay.

One thing that bothers me and I'd like to hear others input but im not fond of raising preflop with 2 early limpers on an ace jack offsuit. I'm more inclined to limp here altho there has to be certain reads on the two limpers (tight or loose) but Im not a big fan of playing aj aggresively preflop unless im first in. I do like the 3 bet on the flop alot of hands you still beat. One other note i dont remember from first post if you gave reads on villain but if hes kind of aggro or loose i would consider pumping the river because there are the donks that ill play 3rd 4th best hands like that on the river. Of course thats specific on what your reads and feelings are with villain

AJo is a strong hand and should be played as such. More often than not the limpers will be limping with weaker hands. AJo also likes to play in 2-3 handed pots. I probably never call with AJo in this position (all you're doing is encouraging more people to limp or raise) and I'd fold if I knew the limpers were pretty tight.
