Default Who Is Bianca??

During the Chimp-in-Chief's press conference yesterday on the WoT and Rita, he kept searching for "Bianca" in the press gaggle. Anyone know who this was supposed to be?

Bianca. Nobody named Bianca? Well, sorry Bianca's not here. I'll be glad to answer her question.

Q Mr. President, could we talk more about --

THE PRESIDENT: Are you Bianca?

Q No, I'm not. Anita -- Fox News.

THE PRESIDENT: Okay.

Q Just a quick question --

THE PRESIDENT: Okay. I was looking for Bianca. I'm sorry.

She is a reporter with Bloomberg radio. Apparently she was there, but didn't have a question to ask.

Why was she called on if she didn't have a question, and why didn't she make her presence known when the President was asking for her?

I don't know. According to the National Enquirer, the president is drinking agsin, so maybe that explains it.

Usually in these things the President has already determined an order of the people who will be asking questions. I don't know if the President gets the questions ahead of time, but he usually knows an order, to a point. Bianca was probably in the order, but absent from the room for whatever reason. This is one possible explanation.

Oh, and before you idiots get all upity about Bush knowing the order, that's how its been done for years, no different from anyone else so far as I am aware.
