I really wish I could have folded this hand, but the pot was so big. (I probably shouldn't have even been in the hand, anyways you be the judge)

Isn't he getting 8.5:1 and likely 12.5:1 on this call? and if so, doesn't this justify a call at a 2/4?

Sorry to say it, but I think it's an easy fold on 3rd. At least fold to the raise if not the completion. One of your 4's is dead, so your biggest hope (making trips on 4th) is weak. What exactly are you hoping for with 4-5-4 rainbow with a dead 4 in a 5-way pot? If you insist on playing it, you have to RAISE yourself to knock players out. Since raising here should obviously be hideous, it's a good clue to fold [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]. Two small pair (which you were unfortunate enough to hit) just don't hold up well in a multi-way pot. I think the action on 4th and 5th for you is either raise or fold.

What was with seat 6? This smells really fishy to me... seems like someone pumping the pot for a friend. Hard to say, though, but it's been a while since I've seen such a maniacal player. I would take note of these characters and not sit with them again.

No kidding. These are the guys that make 2/4 miserable. And since I'm horrible at table selection, they make me a losing player.

I presume he's playing 445 mostly for trip and straight outs, and with all those dead 7s, all we can hope to hit is a wheel.
