Default 87o - top pair turn decision

BB is unknown, he bought in short. CO is slightly tight and passive from the looks of it. Bet this turn? If so, did I bet too little?

CO ($109)
Hero ($145.95)
SB ($36.40)
BB ($48.60)
UTG ($194.50)
MP ($424.38)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.50.

BB checks, CO checks, Hero checks.

You and I both know he donk called the turn with AK and spiked....that or he has an overpair. Easy laydown.

Betting is fine. I mean, someone should bet at it, may as well be you. Checking to try and hit a 6 would be OK too. I like the amount.

It looks like BB either hit his boat on the river or was trapping you from the outset.

Bet the flop, and again on the turn. As played i'd lay it down in a heartbeat.

I didn't even consider betting the flop...With my 4 outs, I thought checking was best on the flop against 2 opponents, 1 of which is the preflop raiser. But maybe I'm not playing position correctly in these spots.

Betting the flop seems like a really poor decision. If he was open ended then it would make more sense.

I might bet more on the turn, maybe 10 ?

River is an easy fold.

What are you confused about in this hand. It's kind of a weird hand. I agree with others who said either he was trapping the whole time or he hit his AK on the river.
