Pros like playing the lower stakes because they have a bigger edge over the fish, so there are more pros at 3/6 than 5/10. That's also why you sometimes see PhilHellmuth and AnnieDuke sitting at the lowest limit tables on Ultimate Bet.
Also, there's no need to beat the level before advancing. Players get easier and more easy to read as you move up.

Players are 100/200 fixed at pokerstars are the easiest. Only action-junkies look for those kind of stakes and they play maniac style. It's so easy to beat them, almost as easy as the penny tables. All the pros are at the NL25-200 tables at Party. Those are so hard to beat. Oh, and nobody respects raises over there also. [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
