Opponent is tight-ag preflop.
What is my line with the Q on the river? What is my line without the Q landing (say a deuce)? I like the Bet and fold to a reraise line.
If he folds thats good. He will only raise you if he beats you. And if he calls with a pocket pair or anything else that beats you, be happy he is passive and take a note. |

I suspect that your opponent has been calling with a T or a medium to small pocket pair.
When you dont improve on the river, I would not spend another bet on what I would effectively consider to be a bluff. I think its likely that your opponent will still call, whether the river is a Q or deuce. I think that your turn bet had some fold equity, but I would probably check/fold the river. I doubt that Ace high would be good if your opponent bet here. |

if you think the Q helped, i would ch/c, or ch/f... depends on reads really.. if you were planning on calling a bet, and dont expect a raise, you may as well bet the river as well... i struggle with these hands as well, lets see what the others say.

Check/call. He's not folding a hand that beats you, but may bluff a worse ace.
