Default Friday bases

Not much time to post reasoning, but I love the Cards today at only -117 at Pinnacle. I even like this at -125 which is a WA line.

I got:

Tor -1.5 Reverse runline +309 (pinnacle)

Hoping for Randy Johnson to have a wild night. Whipsaw got anything else tonight.

Definitely like Milwaukee at +192. Oswalt hasn't been that great to command that line against a pitcher that just beat his team.

I also like Atlanta and Smoltz at +110 against Pedro and NYM. Smoltz has been far better in his last 5 starts and Pedro appears to be tiring. The Mets also just got swept out of any playoff contention by the Nats. Atlanta wins tonight.

I like Texas getting serious wood tonight (+140s) at home against Felix Hernandez and the Mariners. Felix got blown up last time out, and should have trouble with that nice offensive lineup in Texas. Texas is starting a rookie in his first start, but the Mariners aren't exactly a power hitting team. I'll take Texas in what looks like a coinflip.

Let's improve that 0-1-1 on the day.

I'm not a big fan of the Toronto Reverse RL, only because Johnson has had a nice history against the Jays. I would much rather have TOR straight up at +176. Or even take the regular runline for TOR +1.5 at whatever price that is. NY has sort of owned Toronto this year.

I'm surprised you didnt take StL yesterday with +128...I jumped on that and parleyed with Houston & Petite (RL +130)...didnt get there in time to take Milw...damn...was a nice score still. The stars were aligned.

All 3 of these stood out bigtime for me. Ohka on a roll, StL pitcher as well as a clinch, and Petite doin so good.
