Default A Calldown

Been playing with villain maybe 10 mins; havn't seen him get out of line yet. Thats my only read.

Fold the turn? Play differently?

I just call down all the way and bet if checked to.
He's more likely to hold the king, rather than a flush draw IMO.

Yeah, I normally don't do that. My thinking was that if he had a draw or some other PP, my flop 3bet would look like bs and he would call me down. Whereas if i raised the turn he might make a good fold.

Call it a variation on my normal play -- it may not be a good one. What do you think?

I don't know. I think flop c/r in that situation is often a bluff....

EDIT: well, i guess that's an argument for calling down...

Call down after the flop check-raise. If you 3-bet the flop then he might fold something like 66-JJ, which sucks because he's likely to bet that the entire way or check-call the later streets.

Since you 3-bet the flop and he checkraised the turn then it might be OK to dump it right there, but you should never get yourself in that situation with an overpair HU.
