Default 2 pre-flop questions

I have KQo in the SB of a 15/30 game at party. There is an MP open raiser and the person to his immediate left 3-bets. Folded to me and I?

I have A10o in the BB of a 15/30 game at party, there is an UTG raiser and a LMP cold caller, I? I just recently started playing 15/30 so I just wanted to see the consensus on these two situations. Thanks in advance.

Unless I have evidence that I'm dealing with Super LAGs and Maniacs I fold both. And it's not close.

How big is your bankroll for 15-30?

The KQ is definitely a fold. It's too expensive to enter the pot in this spot given the domination risk.

At in the big blind also has domination risk, but at a cheaper price getting beter odds, whether or not to play is more debatable. I call. Tighter players would fold. Since you're new to the game, I'd recommend folding for now. It's the safe play, and avoids putting you in tough spots trying to scrape out a tiny bit of EV.

Good luck.

I take it you are saying it's an easy fold.

14k, I am basically playing 1 15/30 table and 2 5/10 6 max tables.

Get up, and return to my regular .25 / .50 game.

I don't think AQ is even a close call in first. AQ is the lowest I'd ever call with in the second hand unless extreme circumstances.

couldn't resist being a jackass.

i fold from the SB facing just a MP raiser, let alone a 3-bettor.

(but seriously, if you consider calling 3-cold, you shouldn't be playing these stakes).
