How Bad was This?

so i'm at the dodger game with friends on tuesday, and i am a little drunk. i also have not been to a ballgame in 4 years.

we're sitting down the left field line, and heckling the right-fielder.

all of a sudden somebody hits a ball and it goes towards center-field. the center fielder drops it, for the 4th time tonight.

i turn to my friends and say "wow that mid-fielder sucks."

how bad is calling the center-fielder 'mid-fielder'?
