Default Middle pairs are uber annoying.

How am I doing with these.

Hand 1: Should I give this up on the flop?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Hand 2 looks standard, two people showing interest on a board with 2 overcards to your pair. Bad flop for you.

Hand 1 is more interesting. The pairing of the queen and him not raising makes me believe it's a WA/WB situation. What's the standard WA/WB line? c/c,c/c,b/f?

By the time we have that information it's too late to use WA/WB.

Hand 1 looks good to me. AX pays off here always, and it doesn't look like he has a Q. He could play AA and KK the way he did (waiting to raise behind you on the turn, and got scared of the second queen), but I think it's a worthwhile bet. It's certainly better than check/calling or check/folding.

Hand 2 is good.
