Default Being limp-raised when you hold JJ-KK preflop.

Does anybody have trouble laying hands like this down, even if the limp-reraiser has played pretty tight to this point?

I'm certainly not folding anything better than JJ. I could consider laying down JJ against a tight player, but if you fold, you only have 10 BB left, so I wouldn't blame anyone who decided to just go for it.

There is a certain point in the tournament where your stack size simply doesn't allow you to get away from a big hand if someone is lucky enough to be dealt a bigger hand. I think we are at that point for QQ (the game is 6-handed, after all); JJ is marginal.

Please convert hands, it's not that hard.

The villian having played tight is more of a reason to laydown, not less. That tightens his range to more hands that beat you.

That being said, I'm calling here. You have an overpair. If you get shown 1 of like 3 hands that beat you so be it, you got played. But you get shown top pair or something too often, not to call.

Also, the flop action is difficult to read, he basically pushed into you right? If that's the case, I think more often than not he's betting you didn't make a hand. Why didn't villian check/raise if he was so sure of his hand? He wouldn't be afraid of you pushing (he'd probably want it if he had a better hand). No, this is a bluff too often not to call.

With 10 bbs left if I fold, I really can't fold this. Sometimes you get stuck with forced action.

Yeah, after the flop you're gonna go with the overpair, but what about PF? And what hand of a tight player is limp-raising PF that hit's top pair when the flop comes 942? You'll never be shown top pair by a tight player in this spot (if he's truly tight).

Keep in mind that's a min-reraise. Early on that can mean all sorts of crap, but by this point it's probably one of the big ones. He dosn't want you to fold, whereas AK probably pushes on a reraise here.
It's a tough decision, but a smaller PF raise might make it easier.
And if villain has been playing tight, all the more reason to suspect he's limp-raising AA.
