Default good hand, full crowd

I liked my hand but after the turn both players seemed to like theres too. MP1 is a bad player. My plan was to check the flop and feel it out. If I was HU, I'd raise. I decided I'd do the same thing on the turn if given the op

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $3.
2 folds, MP1 calls, 1 fold, CO (poster) checks, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB bets, MP1 calls, CO folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB bets, MP1 calls, Hero folds.

I'd just bet the flop, you're going to have the best hand a lot here.

I think its too passive, you are likely to be ahead
at the flop and often also at the turn.

Until told otherwise, I assume I am ahead here and bet the flop and turn. Both the BB and the poster are in for free with random hands, but are still likely to have overcards that beat your hand. They will often give up the hand for a single bet.

Goins for a checkraise on the flop is also an option.If I had done that and found myself in a position with no people to trap for two bets, I might however call the flop as you did and bet the turn.

Amazing you got to play 6 max 8 handed btw :-)

why aren't you betting the flop again? hoping they can catch up on the turn against your monster?
