Switching to Empire- Help
I have been playing at UB for 3 years with break even to barely positive results since I started limit 2 months ago. I got a free deposit at empire so I left the rock garden(ub) totally. I have $25 in the account. The lowest games are .5/1 LH, 25NL, or 5 1 table tournies. Where should I sit? Thats the question.
My long term goals are limit focused. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Switching to Empire- Help
If you have any longterm goals, you need more money for a bankroll. Fill 'er up to about 300 dollars. Play 0.5/1.

Re: Switching to Empire- Help
I am not a place to deposit anything more. To have a 300BB Bankroll at any level would be nice, but I don't. I'm just asking what is softest at EP. .5/1 LH, 25NL, or $5 1 table tourny.
Thanks again |

Re: Switching to Empire- Help
You're posting in a Limit Forum, so the answers would be biased in that direction.
With your bankroll, your risk of ruin is extremely high regardless of which game you're playing. The SNG's will cost you %20 vig, the NLHE is one buy-in and the LHE is 25BB's. You would be better off taking the $25 and playing true micro's at PokerStars or other sites with very small games such as .01/.02 until you have at least a few hundred to deposit into Empire given their 20% first time deposit offer. |

Re: Switching to Empire- Help
Take your pick, you're going to be underrolled for any of those games. But it's free money so if you run well, you could end up in good shape.
Most players who don't want to put a lot in play at the low limit games (.02/.04 or .05/.10) offered at many different sites. |

Re: Switching to Empire- Help
I assume the $25 is the free deposit. What about the money you played with at UB? Couldn't you move that over?
