Default quick preflop question

laggy button opens, reasonable sb 3-bets, you're in the bb with

66 through TT

what's up and why?

keep in mind the likelihood of a LAggy cap.

I prolly toss all of em. If sb is reasonable, his 3 betting standards include pairs high and 2 cards higher than your pair. I can't see sb making this move too often w/a card lower than T unless he's already paired. If lag is likely to cap, your implied odds are shot to $hit so its not even worht set value here.

ok, i've been dumping them in this situation and just wanted to make sure that was right.

aren't your implied odds kinda effed anyway without facing a cap since you're only getting 7:2?

because a lag button has a HUUUUGE range of hands, and a resonable SB knows this and therefore has a HUGE ranage himself.

Also you really want SB to check the flop so you can bet into the lag and have him raise you to knock out SB's overcards or in some situations force him to fold a better hand.
