Default Confused from the BB

Wheee, my first hand history post.

So I'm in the big blind with what might be the best hand, and might be the best draw, but with two other people in, I'm not sure what to do here. Maybe I didn't lead out for enough on the turn? Maybe I should have folded on the flop? I don't know.

Any criticisms and suggestions are appreciated.

PokerRoom No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) converter

MP1 ($14.25)
MP2 ($26.05)
MP3 <font color="#cc3333">(Villain)</font> ($8.20)
CO ($2.55)
Button ($14.35)
SB ($27.65)
BB <font color="#cc3333">(Hero)</font> ($27.50) with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG ($20.85)
UTG+1 ($26.60)

Preflop:
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG+1 calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 calls $0.25, Villain calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls $0.25, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($1.25) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(6 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $1</font>, UTG+1 folds, MP2 calls $1, Villain calls $1, Button folds, SB folds.

Turn: ($4.25) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $2</font>, MP2 calls $2, <font color="#CC3333">Villain raises to $4</font>, Hero...?

thanks,

I would've led the turn for more as you said. However, from this point, I would call and check fold on the river unless I improved. There are hands that have you in trouble, like K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], but you can't fold here because you're getting around 6 to 1 with as many as 14 outs. It is unlikely that you have the best hand though.

you have a really easy call i'd say. You are getting 6-1 on a 4-1 shot. Call, lead any rivered spade, Q or 7 for half - 3/4 of the pot.

Realize the villain only has $3 behind after his turn bet.

I *didn't* realize that at the time, which may have been my biggest mistake of all.

Thanks everyone. By the way, here's how the rest of the hand went.

I folded, MP2 called. River was a spade. MP2 checks, Villain goes all-in, MP2 calls.

MP2 had a set of 4s, Villain had the nut flush. So I didn't have the best hand or the best draw, but had I noticed the stack I probably would have called.
