Default Anyone else always leave right b4 your supposed to pay the BB

When im ready to go home, I will play all of my free hands. I leave right before I am supposed to post the BB. People always get ticked off at me and say something, everytime!! Anyone else do the same?

I do this every time as well, and noone has ever said anything to me about it. Where I play it's SOP.

A friend of mine said it is rude to do that. He'll play his button and then leave.

I think that's stupid and always leave just before my BB.

I always leave before my big blind. I usually tell the dealer a hand or two before that I am leaving when the blind hits me to be courteous and keep the game moving while I am racking my chips.

I think it also might get me some additional loose calls from players who think I am maybe playing a marginal hand because I am leaving, though I have no evidence to back this up.

The only time I don't leave right before the BB is if I intend on leaving by my BB and I have to pay time before the BB gets to me.

I used to do this a lot too until someone said something to me like, "Oh you're going to take our money and run then?". At first I thought it was a joke, but I looked at the guy and he wasn't laughing.

I now announce I'm going to leave and do it about 2-3 hands before I'm in the big blind.
