Default 85s against a tricky, aggressive tag. play along with my nads

so i was sitting at a table. this first hand is simply a hand that shows you what i'm talking about with his trickiness (this is the first hand where we'd both been involved). his stats were the usual tag stuff, like 21/10/2 or so. turns out he had KK here and he read my hand pretty well. i could have:

AQ, AJ, KQ, KJs, maybe JJ

he could reasonably expect me to value bet all these hands except JJ. when he checks the river it really looks like he has QQ or JJ, imo, so i value bet expecting him to call ("no way he has AA/KK/AK here, he would've value bet" i thought). so i paid off because i really had to see his hand.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls, MP calls, CO (poster) checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, MP folds, CO folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (11.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (7.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, UTG folds, Hero calls.

River: (9.25 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises</font>, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 13.25 BB

now here is the 85s hand (an orbit or so later)

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">MP raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Button calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
Hero ...

<font color="#666666"> what's the plan? </font>

Checkraise. It looks like a draw and you'll often get to bet-3bet the turn.

Check/raise for value. We can expect a TAG to continuation bet this flop about 99% of the time and can easily trap button for 2. Even with the flush draw out there, we're about a 5:1 to house it up, so we've got a pleasant redraw if a spade falls.

I really need to stress how much farther along you are in your poker development than I am when you can determine it looks like a draw when no one has done a damn thing yet.

Call and lead the turn. Now it looks like you're preventing a free card from a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] draw. If the card is blankish, which a lot of turns will be, you're gonna get raised, often. Then you 3-bet and proceed to giggle maniacally.

You can check-fold a T, and proceed more cautiously than normal if you get excessive action when a broadway card or a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] falls.
