Default Is there a better way to play this hand?

Ok guys, WCOOP#4, short handed PL Holdem. Villian has been pretty aggresive so far. Already in the $, table is kind of passive, since there's a jump in the $ and we're playing hand by hand.

You're joking right? Villain had best hand PF, on flop, turn and river..... how is that a bad beat?

So I may not have a ton of experience in these situations, but from looking at this, I don't know how I would be able to call off the rest of my chips with 2pr on a VERY coordinated board with still a bit over 28 BB left.

Being OOP, the check-call is, of course fine here, IMO, but on the turn, there are SO many hands you are behind to at this point (and you only have 4 outs to improve, possibly 2 if you are dominated), when he raises AI, I have to give him credit for either a big hand or a nice bet, and for me, at least, I lay this down.

Granted, villain could have anything here, but I think a better place to put a stack that large into the pot could be found. You ARE getting 2-1 on your money at this point (river), but are you ahead enough of the time to warrant making this call?

The problem with my turn play, is exactly that the purpose of my betting is to price Villian if he's chasing, but more importantly, since I know he's an agressive player, I made a bet that is very appealing and an agressive player with a good draw and chips, is very likely to reraise, to win the pot right there; and with only one card to come, I like my chances; of course sometimes you're running against the nuts, but what do you think in general of my approach?

I like the play all the way up to calling his raise on the turn. After he raises you up there, I can't see him chasing anymore. You are beat, fold.

But, don't you think he's capable of doing this play with AK,KQ,QQ; with 1 spade, or AK,KQ with no spade of even with the naked As? I think the range for this kind of player is not that narrow.

I have to disagree here. Fine, I don't know this player as you do, but I see it as him being far more likely to call with one of the hands you mentioned. He'd apply the brakes with these hands. Why? because what hands is he asking you to fold? If he has AK and you are incapable of folding two-pair, why would he make that bet? His bet doesn't make sense as a bluff unless he thinks you are bluffing - which people who play with you aren't going to think very often (though you do bluff on occasion).

I like the thought process, and I LOVE the turn bet...... when the raise came, I thought..... SH-IT (I actually saw you play this hand, Dave... I was sweating)... my first reaction when you called.... "sirio has a flush and trapped him!"... my second reaction.... "guess I was wrong again."

I seriously would never have put you on KdTd when I was watching. And even if you WOULD have had the best hand, I wouldn't have had the balls to call that all-in after it was 1/2 potted on the turn, facing an all-in.

I think I like a raise on the flop here to get a better idea of my standing. Villain of course would probably just flat call with the nuts, but he'll probably reraise you with a better king and a made flush (non-nut) and maybe the nut flush. I think it may make this hand easier to play.
