Default They say JTs is a good multiway hand...

About 2 1/2 hours earlier, I had decided to hop on a table I had been datamining when it got down to two weak/tighties trying to outfold themselves heads up. Long story short, three flopped boats against me in HU pots and I'm still at the table grinding my way back up.

I have slowly been rebuilding my table image after the initial setbacks, and my bets are starting to get some respect again.

Reads: UTG is donkariffic in every way. UTG+1 is a TAG who I think is a 2+2'er. SB is the King of the Mice; he's running 8/7/2.2 over ~70 hands in this session. BB, who chose to sit this one out, is a 50/1/1 kinda guy.

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, Hero calls, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 caps</font>, Hero calls, SB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (17 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">UTG bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises</font>, Hero calls, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (14.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.

River: (20.50 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
SB checks, UTG+1 checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, SB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 23.50 BB
<font color="#009B00">Main Pot: 23.50 BB, between UTG+1, Hero and SB.</font>

Obviously, my questions center on the preflop call(s), and then of course on whether or not I took the best line to maximize my take on this one. FWIW, when I made the first call I was expecting SB to fold &amp; BB to call.

Yeah, I think you milked it for all it was worth. It's hardly worth the effort to scrutinize these sorts of hands, though.

i fold the flop after +1 raises. You will often be three way here and the multiway value has decreased dramatically with only 3 players. Now when it is two back to you and it will be four way I guess the call is not the worst, but I think it might be spewing long term.

Rest of the hand is fine. You really cannot go wrong and are in perfect position with sb betting into you.

Isn't this a routine fold after a limp, TAG raise and no cold callers?

My only comment is that some people will tell you to fold this pre-flop.

That's my big concern in posting the hand; I believe I extracted the most from my opponents once the flop came down, but I'm still iffy on my preflop call. I was expecting it to be 4-way to the flop for 2 bets, which I thought with position made it worth coldcalling. But this is not a call I often make vs. an EP raiser, let alone a TAG EP raiser.

Default FOLD PREFLOP

Yeah, I don't know how I missed it. That's a real sucker's kind of cold-call.

I wouldn't say it's a real sucker's cold call. Just a "Andy Fox while running bad" kind of cold call.
