Default Call with K4o?

Played a live MTT for the first time this weekend. Format was $60 entry (1k chips), $20 rebuys (1500 chips), 20 minute levels with blinds starting at 25/25. Tough structure, big blind jump at level 5 going from 100/200 to 200/500.

Started with 160, we're at level 7 (1k/2k), with close to 40 remaining, 10 spots pay. I've got 22.5k in the BB with K4o. MP raiser comes in for 10k, folds to me. Just announced that blinds were moving to 2/4k next hand.

Raiser has built up from 4k in the last rotation by stealing and showing his cards (T9o, A9s, Q6o).

Call or fold? Why? (I'll post my action and thoughts after some initial responses).

Raiser will call any push. You are probably behind and the pot odds don't make up for it.

The fact that raiser had been showing steals means nothing. He wanted to give you that information. Why?

so basically you had to put in 23K to get 49K, and that's more than 2:1.. ..

23K to win 26K. 1.13-1.

Raiser has nothing left behind, it's 8k to call for a 13k pot with a better than average hand against a raiser with a wide range of hands. I'm moving to his exact same situation (5xBB) the very next hand.

I probably should have added that calling and losing puts me at about an average stack. Calling and winning means I can savage the blinds immediately with little risk.

This was the toughest decision I'd had so far, but the blinds moving won out, I called. My hand wasn't enough of a dog to his range to lay down.
